This is a PowerPoint Presentation and worksheet that can be used for KS3 and KS4 or Junior, or Transition Year and Leaving Cert classes. It can be used in both a denominational and non-denominational classroom context.
It can be used as part of a module on cults or New Religious Movements (NRMS).
The PPT contains a basic introduction to the International Society for Krishna Consciousness but more commonly known as the Hare Krishnas, as well as basic beliefs. The presentation includes a link to a short YouTube video portraying a group in London (2012) as well as them singing the Hare Krishna mantra.
The Presentation also includes some discussion and writing tasks for the students to do.
